LeaderQuest is approved to offer Veterans the ability to use the Montgomery GI Bill, Active Duty Chapter 30, Vocational Rehabilitation Chapter 31, Post 911 Veterans Education Assistance Chapter 33, My CAA and other Military education financing options.


Montgomery GI Bill – Active Duty Chapter 30

The Chapter 30 Montgomery GI Bill is an Active Duty program providing up to 36 months of education benefits. Generally, benefits are payable for 10 years following your release from active duty. Eligibility criteria can be found on the GI Bill Web site.


Spouses of active duty members and activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components may be eligible for the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts Program.

Vocational Rehabilitation – Chapter 31

Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment is a program to assist veterans who have a service connected disability prepare for, find, and keep suitable IT jobs. Eligibility criteria and more information can be found at the DVA Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment website.

Veterans Workforce Investment Program (VWIP)

The Veterans Workforce Investment Program (VWIP) is a competitive grant program offered by the Veterans Employment and Training Services (VETS) of the U.S. Department of Labor. It is intended to meet the workforce investment needs of the veterans and to perform outreach and public information activities to develop and promote employment and job training opportunities in the green job industry.

Post 9/11 Veterans Education Assistance Act of 2008 – Chapter 33

The Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill Active Duty program provides up to 36 months of education benefits. Generally, benefits are payable for 15 years following your release from active duty. Eligibility criteria can be found on the GI Bill Web site.

What is DoD Directive 8570?

Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8570.01 provides the basis for an enterprise-wide solution to train, qualify, and manage the DoD Information Assurance (IA) workforce. The policy requires Information Assurance technicians and managers to be trained and qualified to a DoD-approved baseline requirement. Who is Affected?

Any full or part-time military service member, contractor, or local nationals with privileged access to a DoD information system performing information assurance (security) functions must become certified in various areas of security and security awareness.
