Employer Bankruptcy Leads to New Employment Quest
“I was lucky enough to hear about LeaderQuest from some of the other employees that were seeking education following the wind down of Sports Authority.”
Scott was working for Sports Authority at the Headquarters in Englewood for 3 years doing networking and security administration.
As many know, Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy last July. Scott worked for them until the very end and was then laid off. He decided to attend school to further his chances of being employed.
WIOA Funding Bonus
March 25th, 2016
“LeaderQuest was amazing because out of all the schools I informed of my grant, they were able to offer me the best value. I firmly believe that the instructors and courses follow in this model of value as well. Myself and many of friends love this campus.”
Scott heard about LeaderQuest’s program for Cyber Security through the Sports Authority grape vine. He knew that employees that were getting laid off were eligible for WIOA funding to get training.
Scott felt he had a couple good reasons to choose LeaderQuest over other training providers: students can retake courses until they feel comfortable passing the test to achieve certification, as well as LeaderQuest’s flexibility with offering several classes and times for their students.
