Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference
(WPC) 2010 - Infinite Possibilities July
11-15
This year was the biggest WPC ever, with over 14,000 registered
attendees, approximately 130 countries, and over 500
sessions. As one of only two Microsoft Partner for Learning
Solutions (MPLS) organizations in Colorado, "it was well worth our
while," said George Cohlmia, CEO LeaderQuest. "We learned
about the many new Microsoft product offerings across all software,
networking and developer competencies. Training is becoming a
more critical component of each new Microsoft Product
rollout."
At the conference we were shown new levels of Microsoft Learning
Solutions Partner support that Microsoft will be providing.
"Microsoft is taking MPLS support and services to the next level,"
said Mr. Cohlmia. We will be getting special course materials
and working closer with local Microsoft representatives. This
makes it even more important for IT Professionals and Enterprise
users to use a Microsoft CPLS partner for training to keep up with
all of their new products."
The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is Microsoft's
premier event for the partner community to learn about Microsoft's
roadmap and best practices for the year, and gain exclusive access
to connect and network with other partners and Microsoft employees.
At WPC 2010, held July 11-15 in Washington, D.C., Steve Ballmer,
Jon Roskill, Bob Muglia, Kevin Turner and many other Microsoft
executives shared their vision for the company, announcing new
product innovations, and detailing Microsoft's cloud services
strategy for partners and their customers.
