PC Network Specialist

SUMMARY

Ensures that all computers and network systems at the casino are properly functioning at all times.  Takes phone calls from employees and troubleshoots any technology problems that may arise.

Essential Functions

•             Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.

•             Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.

•             Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.

•             Troubleshoot through verbal descriptions.

•             Administers, maintains and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of company databases.

•             Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

•             Ability to acquire and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.

•             Knowledge of Windows NT & Windows 2000 Professional and Server required, knowledge of networking WAN & LAN preferred.

•             Working knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports and Player tracking experience preferred.

•             Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

•             Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

•             Some Spanish desirable.

Education or Formal Training:

•             Associates degree or equivalent.

•             2-5 years experience in a related field preferred

•             1 to 2 years experience troubleshooting PCs.

Mathematical Skills

System Security Engineer

As a System Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and delivering secure systems including providing technical direction and clarification of security requirements to development teams and test personnel.
• Conduct engineering analyses including trade studies, security risk assessments, use case development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition and requirement validation and verification.
• Develop Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documents including Security Concept of Operations, Implementation Plans, System Security Plans, System Security Training, Risk Analysis Reports and System Security Test and Evaluation plans and procedures.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Minimum of 6 years experience in Information Systems Security Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Systems Engineering
• Experience with requirements development, management and architectures
• Experience with interface definition and documentation (ICDs)
• Experience with requirements verification and validation

Sharepoint Analyst

Job Description:

Location: Denver

Description of Work:
Assist in migrating from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2010.
Activities include:
• Manipulate data in excel and SharePoint lists to organize the migration schedule
• Track migrations and end-user concurrence on migrated sites.
• Work with customers to resolve end-user problems
• Review and gather information about sites to be migrated and migrated sites.

Help Desk Associate

11 Month Contract - Fort Collins, CO

Rate - $17-$20/hr

Job Description:

BASIC PURPOSE:
To provide high quality technical services and support to employees. The Help Desk Associate responds to customer requests for technical support and services, applies knowledge of client-side computing and collaborates with IT team members to deliver solutions. The Help Desk is the central point of customer communications, issue tracking and issue status reporting. The associate performs customer advocacy that confirms satisfactory issue resolution and continually adds to support knowledge.

Top Three skillsets

1. HP Blade experience
2. HP servers experience, advanced troubleshooting skills to determine an issue with a server
3. Experience with SAN and Network (Should be able to configure a switch and SAN at least)

Task 1 - General Data Center Tasks

• Perform hardware setup and configuration of HP hardware including servers and blades.
• Perform basic installation and configuration of network and storage devices.
• Provide general support of infrastructure including troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Perform cabling tasks and general data center maintenance.

Task 2 -Application and Software Administration

• Install and configure a variety of enterprise applications.
• Provide basic support of demo and training systems and applications.
• Manage and install multi-OS environment including Windows, ESX, and Linux.
• Experience with Vmware administration is essential.
• Utilize VMWare tools and utilities.
• Help support AD/FTP/DNS/Web applications.

Task 3 - Shipping and Receiving

• Be able to ship servers up to 75lbs including lifting and packaging them.

Task 4 - General Administration

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Additional technical training certifications preferred. 2. • The Help Desk administrator will perform system administration on complex local and wide area networks on Unix, Linux, and/or Microsoft Windows-based machines.

Required Skills:

2008 Windows System Administrator

As a Windows System Administrator/Engineer, you will serve as the primary system administrator for a shared Windows server-based infrastructure.

Primary responsibilities:

• Installation, V&V, and deployment with some on-going support of Windows 2008 Servers.
• Responsible for collaborating with customer security and technical representatives to coordinate system upgrades and problem resolution.
• Must be flexible and creative in planning for outages and system work under a complex set of security rules for the programs that use these infrastructures.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks without direct instructions from an IT manager and must be accountable to program personnel to perform duties without impact to program deadlines and deliverables.

Job Description:

• Perform multiple functions such as an administrator, integrator, and engineer in support of high priority internal enterprise unclassified and classified systems.

This information technology and systems security support includes but is not limited to the following:

• Maintaining infrastructure systems, servers, clusters, workstations, laptops, printers, network equipment, and support devices.
• Position tasks will consist of planning, development, integration, installation, configuration management, maintenance, programming, and respond to urgent troubleshooting efforts.
• Implements and enforces computer security policies and performs vulnerability scanning with risk mitigation on all devices throughout the network.
• Applies and modifies Windows Server Group Policy as well as works with Active Directory.
• Performs planning, coordination, and execution of operating system installations and upgrades, security patches, hotfixes, and service pack releases.
• Installs and configures systems, servers, workstations and peripherals.
• Builds and deploys laptop systems and peripherals.
• Maintains and updates system standards and security policy documentation.
• Supports multi-system administration, integration, and engineer related work requests, including: working with government site system maintainers, information system security officers, system engineers, and integrators.

• Environment is very dynamic and fluctuates between routine and urgent periods, depending on current tasking, tasking priority, and system conditions.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of IT administration, integration, and engineering with emphasis in advance system administration and network security practices
