IT Manager
Looking for an IT Manager to oversee the Infrastructure,
Operations and Help Desk duties for a Multi-Unit Multi-Concept
Restaurant Operation. You must have experience managing a corporate
Data Center, and at least 3 years of IT infrastructure management
experience. Please review the job description below:
Duties:
- Manage Information Technology operations and employees.
- Plan, coordinate, manage, secure and deploy computer services, programs and operations.
- Maintain corporate telecommunications infrastructure.
- Responsible for corporate data center - operations.
- Responsible for oversight of 24/7cash register system support.
- Oversight of cash register systems programming.
- Oversight of staff supporting stores with problems relating to Headset Systems, SOS Timers and Order Confirmation Boards.
- Manage corporate networks and security - Voice and Data.
- Set up and maintain security for all computer systems.
- Determine requirements for computer systems software and hardware to suit data processing needs.
- Recommend the design and infrastructure improvements for use throughout corporate operations.
- Determine sources for hardware, prepare request for proposals, analyze bids and recommend course of action.
- Act as a primary contact person for IT Operations and manage external technology vendors: schedule, assign, monitor, analyze performance and report on results.
- Budget management- Creation, Tracking, and Reconciliation.
- Procurement - Requisition and management of hardware and Software.
- Responsible for disaster preparation and/or disaster recovery efforts as they relate to IT Infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain inventory of all IT related equipment, software assets and vendor service agreements.
- Responsible for all corporate office hardware, employee workstations, mobile communications and networked voice systems.
- Capacity planning to insure all infrastructure components effective match business requirements and growth plans.
- Responsible for implementing methodologies to improve first call resolution, manage customer perceptions, and build strong internal and external relationships.
- Build and maintain a qualified IT help team through hiring and training techniques.
- Implement innovative staffing and scheduling models for guaranteed coverage at the lowest possible costs.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of IT infrastructure management experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Related field is preferred
- Ability to establish priorities, set accurate schedules, deliver results and communicate progress.
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and apply technical information effectively in presentations to Executive Management and other key user groups.
- Ability to effectively supervise and train employees.

IT SERVICE DESK SPECIALIST ASSOCIATE
SUMMARY:
The IT Service Desk Specialist Associate is an entry-level
position in the IT Service Desk that applies knowledge of
information systems products and services to assist employees
and/or Agents with hardware and software related problems, or
system outages. Documents computer related problems and
troubleshoots solutions as appropriate, escalating to other IT
groups as needed.
Applies basic technical knowledge and is becoming proficient in
using help desk tools and troubleshooting equipment appropriate for
the position and specialization. Resolves routine questions and
problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level Help Desk
Specialists or other appropriate IT groups. Follows processes and
established standards to resolve routine and newly documented
issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports end users with IT related problems and issues.
Handles routine and newly documented calls directly from end
users, and uses discussions with end users to identify and research
IT related questions and problems.
Resolves routine hardware and software problems, and coordinates
referrals to the appropriate technical resources (i.e., more
experienced Help Desk Specialists, or other IT groups) for more
complex problems.
Prepares and maintains the appropriate follow-up documentation,
which includes logging tickets and updating the knowledge
base.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's Degree in an Information Technology discipline (e.g.
MIS, IS, IT CNS, Computer Engineering, or Windows Networking
Administration) is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline (e.g.
MIS, IS, IT CNS, Computer Engineering, or Windows Networking
Administration) is preferred.
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required.
Related work experience in a technical field, which could include
assisting end users with hardware and software related problems is
a bonus.
Required Skills:
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with
the ability to interact effectively with others, and maintain
composure in stressful situations.
The ability to translate technical terms into layman's
terms.
Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
Good customer service skills.
Must have a general understanding of information systems with the

Engineering Support Services Subject matter Expert
This position will provide senior level engineering support for
all facets of the AFNet infrastructure and tools.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Perform operational evaluations and problem resolution.
Perform operational evaluations, problem resolution, design,
testing, and security assessment for these systems.
Perform liaison tasks between the various PMO offices and the
operational users.
Represent the PMOs in meetings and conferences.
Monitor plans and schedules and perform program problem analysis
for high risk programs.
