The CISSP course provides students with core knowledge required to show competency in the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) which includes the following domains: Access Control; Application Development Security; Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning; Cryptography; Information Security Governance and Risk Management; Legal, Regulations, Investigations and Compliance; Operations Security; Physical (Environmental) Security; Security Architecture and Design; and Telecommunications and Network Security. This course focuses on all official exam objectives of the (ISC)2 CISSP examination, which has a focus on securing the network infrastructure.

 

In order to attain the CISSP certification students must pass the latest examination with a score of 700 or higher, submit a properly completed and executed endorsement form, and successfully pass an audit process if selected for an audit.

 

Target Audience

This course is appropriate for students pursuing the CISSP examination. This course would also be helpful to anyone in the IT field that lacks security skills. Students considering a further path in Cisco or Microsoft network security should consider attending this course.
