Course Description
DCNI-2 is a 5-day hands-on course that teaches you how to
implement an enterprise Data Center infrastructure with the
next-generation Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, and 2000 platforms. This
course provides a technical overview of the Nexus platform
architecture.
This course provides a technical overview of the Nexus platform
architecture, deployment, and operations, including Layer 2 and 3
features, QoS, and security. Major architectural components include
Virtual Device Contexts (VDCs), I/O consolidation with Fibre
Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and the Nexus 2000 Fabric
Extender.
Prerequisites
To fully benefit from this course, it is recommended that you
have the following prerequisite skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge of Layer 2 switching
- Knowledge of Layer 3 routing protocols
- Basic knowledge of security and QoS
- Recommended training: ICND1, ICND2, BCMSN, BCSI, and SND or
ICSW
