"Elevate Colorado" 2010 Scholarship to one lucky Colorado resident
to be chosen at random during Colorado's E3 Job Fair to be held at

"The slowdown in the economy is even more evident with today's
unemployment news, but there is great news in IT," said George
Cohlmia, CEO of LeaderQuest. "If you look where companies are
making investments, significant spending is going into IT projects
in the U.S. and emerging markets. IT spending growth in the
U.S. is forecast to be in the 5%-6% range (up from 3%) for a global
total of $1.51 trillion. U.S. companies are taking greater
steps to bring value-rich products and services to a global
consumer."
Today's national job report showed that the August unemployment
grew to 9.6 percent from 9.5 percent in July.
LeaderQuest is also offering two free workshops at Colorado's E3
Job Fair next week. Entitled "Skills Development
through IT Career Certifications," the workshops will provide
information about IT training and about the skills' development
necessary to compete successfully in the global economy.
Colorado's E3 Job Fair (the three "e's" emphasizing education,
employment and economic growth) is an annual world class economic
development event. According to the state website, the event
is a "place for representatives from business (including new growth
sectors), government, and academics to offer job opportunities and
solutions to strengthen communities, build businesses and foster
economic opportunity." The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm at
the Convention Center. For more information, visit www.Colorado.gov website.
